Her paintings in oil experiment with pattern and color\, often relying on combinations of shapes\, drawn lines\, and textures\, to layer space. She draws inspiration from landscapes\, fabric swatches\, quilts\, musical structure and various symbolic systems including sacred geometry. Sacred geometry ascribes symbolic and sacred meaning to certain geometric shapes and certain geometric proportions. It is associated with the belief of a divine creator of the universal geometer\, the universal language of the cosmos. DESCRIPTION:This two day class class is a fast and easy way to learn to basics of printmaking. Make sure to wear clothes to “play dirty” and come ready to experiment. No experience necessary. Bring lunch or a snack for Saturday’s session. There are only 8 tickets available for this class and you must be 14 years or older to attend.
