SUMMARY:Juneteenth Exhibit- "Stalker of Light-a Tribute to Jada Callender"
DESCRIPTION:This year’s Juneteenth exhibit features the work of Jada Callender.  A was dedicated\, passionate\, and artistic photographer Jada’s work could always be identified by her emotional content\, crisp images and ability to “stalk the light’!   She is missed\, but as long as her work is around\, she will not be forgotten.  In 2021\, Jada Callender became a dedicated collaborator with Shannon Hummel/Cora Dance.  This four-year relationship was marked by her beautiful documentation of the company’s work.  Many of the photos in this exhibit have been provided by Shannon’s personal collection and others from family and friends. \nThis exhibit will be in the Gallery from June 17 – July 11. \nThere will be a special performance by Cora Dance among Jada’s photos on June 19th at 4:30pm with a reception to follow. \n \nPlease come by and see this exhibit remembering Jada.  The Gallery is open 7 days. \nHours for the Gallery are: \nMon – Sat from 10am to 4:30pm \n& \nSundays from 1pm – 4pm.

DESCRIPTION:For a limited time (June 23rd – August 8th) the AHACC is offering personalized drawing lessons taught by Sabrina Burks. \nStudents will start by learning the basic principles of drawing and observation techniques. As you progress\, you will receive a more personalize instruction based on your unique interests (i.e. cartoon drawing\, realism\, portraits\, architecture\, caricature etc…). \nStudents can meet for either 1 hour or 2 hours per session. SUMMARY:BARN QUILT PAINTING CLASS
DESCRIPTION:Students (16+ years old) will create a barn quilt on a 2′ X 2′ board with a design of their choice. Pam will provide a board\, along with black and white paints. Students will need to bring paint colors and a pattern. Sample exterior semi-gloss or matte paints can be purchased from Ace Hardware\, Home Depot\, Sherwin Williams\, etc.. Also needed are 1″ angled brushes\, painters tape (yellow) and your pattern design. This class is on Tuesday\, June 24th & Wednesday\, June 25th from 10 am to 4 pm. The cost of the class is $110 and you will need to register by June 20th. Please call 540-862-4447 to reserve you spot.

DESCRIPTION:This year’s Juneteenth exhibit features the work of Jada Callender.  A was dedicated\, passionate\, and artistic photographer Jada’s work could always be identified by her emotional content\, crisp images and ability to “stalk the light’!   She is missed\, but as long as her work is around\, she will not be forgotten.  In 2021\, Jada Callender became a dedicated collaborator with Shannon Hummel/Cora Dance.  This four-year relationship was marked by her beautiful documentation of the company’s work.  Many of the photos in this exhibit have been provided by Shannon’s personal collection and others from family and friends. \nThis exhibit will be in the Gallery from June 17 – July 11. \nThere will be a special performance by Cora Dance among Jada’s photos on June 19th at 4:30pm with a reception to follow. \n \nPlease come by and see this exhibit remembering Jada.  The Gallery is open 7 days. \nHours for the Gallery are: \nMon – Sat from 10am to 4:30pm \n& \nSundays from 1pm – 4pm.

As you progress\, you will receive a more personalize instruction based on your unique interests (i.e. cartoon drawing\, realism\, portraits\, architecture\, caricature etc…). \nStudents can meet for either 1 hour or 2 hours per session. SUMMARY:One-on-One Drawing Lessons
DESCRIPTION:For a limited time (June 23rd – August 8th) the AHACC is offering personalized drawing lessons taught by Sabrina Burks. \nStudents will start by learning the basic principles of drawing and observation techniques. As you progress\, you will receive a more personalize instruction based on your unique interests (i.e. cartoon drawing\, realism\, portraits\, architecture\, caricature etc…). \nStudents can meet for either 1 hour or 2 hours per session. SUMMARY:Juneteenth Exhibit- "Stalker of Light-a Tribute to Jada Callender"
DESCRIPTION:This year’s Juneteenth exhibit features the work of Jada Callender.  A was dedicated\, passionate\, and artistic photographer Jada’s work could always be identified by her emotional content\, crisp images and ability to “stalk the light’!   She is missed\, but as long as her work is around\, she will not be forgotten.  In 2021\, Jada Callender became a dedicated collaborator with Shannon Hummel/Cora Dance.  This four-year relationship was marked by her beautiful documentation of the company’s work.  Many of the photos in this exhibit have been provided by Shannon’s personal collection and others from family and friends. \nThis exhibit will be in the Gallery from June 17 – July 11. \nThere will be a special performance by Cora Dance among Jada’s photos on June 19th at 4:30pm with a reception to follow. \n \nPlease come by and see this exhibit remembering Jada.  The Gallery is open 7 days. \nHours for the Gallery are: \nMon – Sat from 10am to 4:30pm \n& \nSundays from 1pm – 4pm.
