DESCRIPTION:This year’s exhibit contains a whopping 108 pieces by 42 artists!  This we believe is a record number for this show.  Even judge Ed Bordett examined each and every piece at least twice as he walked the gallery over and over\, checking out each and every entry until he made his selections.  Please  come by and help to choose the PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD by voting for your favorites in each category.  The exhibit is FREE\, and the hours are 10 am to 4:30 pm Monday – Saturday\, and 1 pm to 4 pm on Sundays.

DESCRIPTION:This class for kids in K-5th grade\, and is held on the first Wednesday of every month.  The Kindergarten & 1st grade (ages 5-6) meet at 10:30-11:30.  The 2nd & 3rd grade (ages 8 – 9) meet at 9:15 – 10:15.  The 4th & 5th grade (ages 10 – 11)  meet at 11;30 – 12:30. \nThe children will read and discuss a story\, make their own craft pertaining to the story\, and often there is a snack! Kids are sure to have fun while learning with school teachers Cathy Drummer & Judy Scott! Only a few spots available. \nAll supplies provided. All these skills will make will make your drawing more effective and serve a solid base for painters too. Lots of individual attention and working time.\nCost of Class: $125 \nDates of Class: May 2\, 9\, 16\, 23  Time: 10;30 – 12:30 \nRegistration Deadline: April 27\, 2026 \nAge: 15 and up \nSupplies Needed: 12″x 16″ Sketchbook\, 2B pencils\, kneaded eraser. Please bring supplies to the first class \nKyle Keyser has 39 years of experience teaching art at the former Covington High School and teaching adults. DESCRIPTION:       Masks and Heavy Metal with Michael Hough\nCheck out the fantastical sculptures from welded-found metal\, “bits and bobs\,” and from hefty scrap\, such as gears\, gauges\, engine parts\, recycled engines\, recycled  farm and automotive equipment\, or whatever else he can find.  From his exploration of shape\, form\, and movement with these materials\, a creation is formed. Some are large while some are small and intimate. \nThe exhibit is in the Gallery from May 12 to June 11\, 2026.   This is a must-see exhibit!

All these skills will make will make your drawing more effective and serve a solid base for painters too.
