Try these & you might get hooked!  Watercolor Pencils are fun to use & give control over color, intensity, and detail as you create your paintings.  Also, you are improving your drawing skills!  You’ll learn multiple ways to use w/c pencils – with & without water.  You’ll have ample time to create several pieces and learn techniques that can be used to enliven existing paintings.  Open to ALL levels, including beginners and those unfamiliar with watercolor!

The registration fee includes:

12-pencil set of Inktense Watercolor Pencils-yours to keep; 3 pieces of professional-grade watercolor paper and a backboard for your paper; watercolor tube paint (primary colors) to combine with your pencils; a disposable palette; a drawing pencil & eraser; masking tape.

Please bring several soft hair/fiber water media round tip brushes (ie. #6, #14); a box of plain facial tissues (without lotion); reference photos of a variety of subjects (flowers, animals, people, boats, landscape, fruit…)

Robin Poteet teaches watercolor classes and workshops throughout the mid-Atlantic and has been a popular annual instructor at AHACC.  Her studio/gallery is located in Salem, VA.
