“WABI SABI LANDSCAPES” by Gina Louthian Stanley

Wabi-sabi is a concept that lies at the heart of Japanese culture-an idea that places great value on incompleteness and imperfection.  Participants should be able to complete at least 3 of these during, with lots ideas and inspiration for more.  Class materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own papers, sketch books for ideas and references.  This class will take place on July 19th from 10am – 4pm.  The cost is $130.  Please register by July 16th.

 

 

Gina is a working artist and teaches at the Studio School in Roanoke.  She taught at James River High School for more than 20 years, and teaches at home and in North Carolina.
